CEO
Nikita coordinated Latvia’s COVID-19 vaccination programme and led its epidemiological modelling, reporting to the Minister of Health. He also worked at UNAIDS and led development of the EU’s first decentralised contact-tracing app.
His DPhil research at Oxford, supported by a Clarendon scholarship, focused on AI for forecasting viral evolution. He represented Latvia at three International Olympiads in Biology and Chemistry.
CTO
Dylan worked on applied machine learning at Kumo AI and developed software in Medtronic’s surgical robotics lab. He also co-founded Piriko as CTO.
He holds an MSc in Advanced Computer Science from Oxford, where his DPhil research focuses on deep learning and graph methods with applications in finance. He also conducted research at Mila – Quebec AI Institute.
Founding Engineer
Calum is an applied mathematician who has used mathematical modelling to address problems in healthcare and industry, including work with King Edward Memorial Hospital.
He holds a DPhil from Oxford, where he was a Rhodes Scholar. His research has ranged from interacting particle systems to postdoctoral work on the mechanics of mud volcanoes.
Founding Engineer
Kialan is a senior computer scientist who built distributed systems at AWS and enterprise payments infrastructure at Stitch Money, as Staff Engineer and Team Lead. He also co-founded Athena Insurance as CTO.
He holds an MSc in Advanced Computer Science from Oxford, where his research focused on graph neural networks for off-target gene-editing prediction. He competed at the International Physics Olympiad and completed school at 15.
Research Mathematician
Wang Pok is a research mathematician whose work at the Usher Institute examined whether surrogate endpoints in clinical trials reliably predict patient outcomes.
He is studying Graduate-Entry Medicine at Oxford, combining mathematical research with clinical training. He completed his master’s in Statistics with Medical Applications at Sheffield at 13 and began his PhD at Edinburgh at 15.
Partnerships Lead
Edgars directed Latvia’s National Health Service and held leadership roles at Daugavpils Regional Hospital and Riga East University Hospital. He also worked in health policy and market access at Medtronic and medical devices at Johnson & Johnson.
He specialises in healthcare financing and lectures at Rīga Stradiņš University.
Advisor
Manoj is a consultant paediatric orthopaedic and trauma surgeon at The Royal London Hospital, Barts Health NHS Trust, and co-founder of Viz.ai. He has also founded and advised healthtech companies.
He trained in London, Los Angeles and Sydney. His work spans clinical practice, medical imaging AI and healthcare technology.
